As an artist, I am drawn to the bond we share with nature, a source of inspiration and comfort wired in our very being. Embracing a neurodiverse viewpoint, I celebrate the distinct ways in which we perceive, think, and engage with our surroundings. Inspired by my Celtic ancestors, who believed in the interconnectedness of nature and the supernatural through their animistic beliefs that all things in nature, including animals, plants, rivers, and rocks, had a spirit.

Through my artwork, I aim to capture the spiritual feeling that the interconnectedness of nature brings me. using paints and mixed media by emphasizing the interplay of colour, light, and movement on canvas and glass. These elements are my key tools for expressing the peace and boundless creativity present in nature, even amidst life's inherent disorder.

As the descendant of a family of seafarers, I also channel my strong oceanic affinity through my artwork, blending greens and blues onto canvas and in ornamental pieces. Through a combination of realistic portrayals, as well as experimenting freely with diverse mediums, I create instinctively and fluidly, with each layer serving a meaningful purpose and connecting me with the natural world and my Celtic and Norse roots.

My art acts as a bridge, uniting not only our intrinsic tie to nature but to foster a deeper appreciation for the varied perspectives that enrich our shared human experience.
